The day we married is one of the best days of my life. It was beyond wearing a beautiful wedding dress, I was getting married to my best friend for life. I cannot imagine a life without him. He's so selfless with a compassionate heart. I have come across different people from different walks of life but he actually came with an irresistible force. He is incredibly resilient and strong. He inspires me to be the best version of myself, and reminds me of my own strength when I forget it's there. He was my back bone during my days at the Nigerian Law School. He is just the best support system anyone could wish to have and very encouraging of my pursuits, challenging me with his favorite quote "Baby,I know you can do it".He pushes me to be my best in all aspects of life.
One thing I've always admired about my husband is that when it comes to taking responsibility, he shoulders it just like a perfect gentleman that he is. It's said that family and peer groups contribute a lot towards the upbringing of a child. Kudos to his parents who raised him well and to DMGS which contributed in grooming him to become this awesome being. My husband has this confidence he exudes, I need say that I have noticed such also among other fellow Dengramites through their social functions that I usually attend with my hubby and even when they were invited to our wedding ceremony. It was nice having Dengramites around. They even sang their School anthem which also made the hall interesting. I still remember some of the lines which say "You challenge and inspire" Your hope is our desire" It shows solidarity among them. (Who knows, our son might be a student of DMGS) *winks*
I have always heard from friends how boring it could be attending a spouse's secondary school's reunion. The fun of being a spouse at their school's reunion is like a minor character in a reality show. I was prepared to feel out of place. I would say that Dengramites are lively set of people, so friendly to the core. I could take pictures and enjoy my husband's time of secondary school reminiscences, hear the laughter and catch glimpses of the school boy who grew up to become my husband. He is such a cheerful fellow, and highly optimistic person. Thank you for being such a great husband and a father. You've never made me feel alone.
I love you Orgu Nnamdi Chisom. I heart you the father of our heir. My Trapezium Much love from Mi Corazon Orgu Lynda, Esq (Wife of Nnamdi Orgu, an Old Boy of DMGS Onitsha| 2005).
