Days Of Old

Remembering my DMGS days, those days in the Assembly Ground, with my then amiable principal, Ven. T. U. Mbanugo of blessed memory, feeding us with so many ancient history of DMGS. That reminds me, he would always say, 'I left DMGS in 1965 and I joined the army in 1965'. Even though, he was of '65set of DMGS.

The assembly ground became as quiet as a grave yard whenever he talks. I remember, he was the best Chemistry Teacher in West Africa and a great Scientist before he died in 2008. Always be 'A GOOD DENGRAMITE' he would always say.

I never forget my Howellian brothers, Gabriel Iyke Aces Ojibe, Dim Praise Onyema, Anazonwu Chinedu, Chinedu Okonkwo, Okonkwo Chima Anthony, Kingsley O Ucheze, Uwandu Nnamdi Dennis, Christian Chinedu Alvis Ezekwe and Shedrack Nwuba(the Senior Prefect). Honestly, I feel nostalgic. Remembering the decease in my set; Ifeacho Chibuike, Nwachukwu Edozie, Ifeanyi Micheal Okeke and Ezeako Ezejiofor Emmanuel Ifeanyi, May their souls continue to rest in peace. Amen.

In deed, Dengram have always been our pride, where it all started. I'm so glad having attended the great institution DMGS. I mean, having attended the Dynasty 'DMGS'. We keep the light shinning.
